Ayurveda is a wonderfully vast system of medicine based in nature, focused on healing and maintaining the quality and longevity of life, and balancing the mind and body for optimal health. This ancient practice combines science with philosophy, psychology, and spirituality seeing each of us as a microcosm of the universe.

Because this practice is so vast and layered, I wanted to create something I wish I had when I first started learning. Ayurveda is one of the biggest influences on how I see and move through life. Thanks for continuing your Ayurvedic journey with me and welcome to The Guide to Eating Seasonally! My hope with this e-book is to provide you with the foundational understanding of eating for your dosha to help propel you along your journey.

Yoga, and more specifically Ayurveda, have been a major inspiration and influence on how I respond to and view life. It has provided me with a deeper understanding of myself,  how to best interact with others, and how best to heal myself. Food is medicine! What we put into our bodies is important, and this will outline why.

This course sets the foundation on your digestion, the factors that affect your digestion and how your body functions, as well as dives into the six tastes and the importance of eating seasonally, locally, and organically. I also outline the seasons by each dosha and provide example nutrition plans per season per dosha.

It is suggested to take the Ayurveda 101: Discover the Doshas course to gain a basic understanding of Ayurveda and the Doshas.
